Just a heads up, as you can see from the poster above, the sale at Medford Soap company is in full swing now. If you haven’t been to their site, you can find more information at medfordsoap.com Goodvibes also sells their soaps and of course there was the artisan’s fair this past month in Oct. Medford Happenings had the good luck to run into both Michelle and her son as they manned the booth at the fair.

I took a moment to purchase a wickless candle which is simply phenomenal. No smoke, no burning wax vapors, just a nice even evaporation of the candle. The smell of lavender and lemon is not only subtle but a nice change from traditional air fresheners. Once the candle completely evaporates, you have the option to purchase refills.

It is important to support local businesses but also just as important, Michelle is literally our neighbor. It’s also important to understand why you support local businesses, its not about buying stuff off of Amazon or Walmart, you can totally do that but keeping local businesses afloat are the types of connections you make to help strengthen a community. Its also worth reposting our interview with her that we featured earlier this Summer. If you’re looking for a gift for the family, start with the Medford Soap company, there is something there for everyone!
