From Jazz director Jonthan Fagan:
Hi again Medford Jazz-Lovers,
Thanks to those who came out to our last session at the West Medford Community Center, it was a blast! So many talented professionals and amateurs have sustained this series each month, and I look forward to creating new connections each time.
We’re hosting a loosely Valentines-themed jam at the Danish Pastry House, Medford this coming Friday, February 13th from 6:30-8:30. Families, kids and spouses found the cafe atmosphere inviting when we held our holiday session there in December, and this one promises to be just as fun thanks to the presence of Gordon Engelgau on drums and my dear mentor and friend Ross Adams on electric bass. We’ll play a few love songs as an opening set and then leave the rest to you all! Listeners are also more than welcome of course, there’s a wide variety of baked goods and hot drinks to sample while cheering everyone on.
A suggested donation of $10 will help us continue this series leading up to the summer, but please come out regardless to enjoy this wonderful community. Thanks once again to our Patreon members who donate each month to make events like this possible.
I look forward to seeing many of you there!
Jonathan Fagan
President and producer of the Medford Jazz Festival
