As we begin our next phase of the Medford Happenings project, we’re announcing our Sunday morning coffee series. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard and we help put you in touch with leaders of the community.

Why discord? This is an all in one platform. Its free. Its multilingual. It handles unlimited traffic. It provides voice, chat and a forum regarding all things relevant to the city. Sign up is simple, all you need is a good internet connection, a computer that has a camera and mic.

If you’ve never heard of discord, there are a lot of resources you can find on youtube. To get you started though, check out the video below.
Now we realize there are some people who are not technically savvy and that’s ok. We will be arranging days and times to be at a public spot and we can help you get started. This will most likely be at the Medford Public Library, dates and times will be posted. Please bring your laptop with you and we’ll help you get up and running.

Once you join, please review the rules. Please know that when we have guests and if you would like to ask a question, we will require your camera be turned on, let us know your first name and which part of Medford you live in. No anonymous participation. This is setup and geared towards good faith conversations about very important issues affecting residents of Medford. It would be as if you were attending a city council meeting but a better chance to be heard.
