
Episode 9 – The Friends of the Medford Public Library have released a new episode of the podcast.
In episode 9, Bruce speaks with Sam Sednek, the new director of the Medford Public Library. They discuss the upcoming library card drive. September is National Library Card month – National Library Card Month Also know the ALA is celebrating their 150th anniversary! The Friends of the Medford Library will be assisting with the canvassing of areas of the city that are underserved by the city. Wellington circle as an example. They’ll be handing out flyers and promoting all the services the Medford Public Library has to offer. Why not sign up, the cost is FREE!
They discuss available apps such as Kanopy/Libby/Hoopla. Kanopy and Hoopla allow you to stream movies in the library’s collection. Its also one of the best ways to watch Criterion films for free!!! These apps if they are on your phone allow for audiobooks. There are so many ways to access the library services.
